Job Description

A leading group of companies is looking for hardworking and trusted female cashiers for our hypermarket & dept. store.

The applicants must be capable of processing customer transactions by scanning items, collecting payments via cash, credit, or other methods, and providing receipts.

Key duties include accurately managing the cash register, handling returns, providing excellent customer service by answering questions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. They may also assist with tasks like stocking shelves and greeting customers.

Core responsibilities

Process transactions: Accurately scan items, calculate totals, and process payments using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems. Handle payments: Accept and handle cash, credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods, providing correct change and receipts. Manage the cash register: Count cash at the beginning and end of shifts, balance the register, and report any discrepancies. Provide customer service: Greet customers, answer questions, and help locate items. Handle returns and exchanges: Process merchandise returns and exchanges according to company policy. Maintain the checkout area: Keep the checkout station clean, organized, and stocked.
Additional duties

Promote products: Cross-sell products or introduce new items to customers. Bag purchases: Bag items safely for customers. Restock shelves: Assist with stocking shelves and managing inventory when needed. Follow security procedures: Adhere to all security and anti-theft policies.

Pay: Up to QAR1,500.00 per month

CASHIER IN STORE: 3 years (Required)
