We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide excellent customer service. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using a cash register. Maintain accurate cash drawer and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. Assist customers with inquiries and provide information about products and services. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area. Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and prepare daily reports. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred. Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
