The Arts Club Dubai unveils an amazing opportunity for a talented artisan to join our passionate and creative team. A Cashier is responsible for performing operations with cash and billing process in the assigned outlet/s while safeguarding the issues cashier's house fund and ensuring the accurate accounting.


Additionally, Cashier is required to support as necessary operation of the assign outlet/s to ensure its efficiency.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Ensure that a check is made and recorded in the POS system for every Food & Beverage sale in the outlet Ensure that a check is made and recorded in the POS system for any meals consumed by employees or any service offered to guests as complimentary or entertainment Enter opening and closing check number used in his / her shift in the Income Auditors logbook, ensure that checks are used serially, and all the checks are accounted for Open a guest check in the POS system, punching orders, splitting and transferring tables, settling checks as cash, credit card or city ledger Prepare cashier's summary and tally it with Micros (POS) reading at the close of his / her shift Print and tally transaction list from credit card machines with physical check and Micros reading Prepare deposit envelope, write the deposit amount in cashier's deposit sheet and drop the envelope in the designated safe depository, in the presence of a witness, who has also signed the witness column of the cashier's deposit sheet Display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues Adhere to Company rules and regulations at all time Coordinate with General Cashier for any irregularity or cashiering challenge

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

Minimum 2 years' experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels Must already have experience in closing bills and handling cash and cards Someone who is prepared to work late hours into the night Advanced computer skills Excellent level of English, written and spoken Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality
