Job Description
Job Summary:
The Cashier is responsible for handling all customer transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude. The role involves scanning items, collecting payments, issuing receipts, and ensuring excellent customer service at the checkout counter.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide excellent customer service. Scan, weigh, and bill items accurately using the POS system. Receive payments via cash, card, or other methods and ensure correct change is given. Maintain proper cash control and reconcile cash drawer at the end of the shift. Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds as per store policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter. Assist customers with inquiries and direct them to relevant departments when needed. Report any discrepancies or issues with transactions to the supervisor. Follow all store policies, procedures, and safety standards. Support store operations by helping in packing, labeling, or stocking when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
