Job Description
Job Summary:
The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently and accurately while providing excellent customer service. They ensure proper billing, handle cash and card payments, maintain accurate records, and assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide friendly, courteous service. Scan, weigh, and process items accurately through the POS system. Handle cash, card, and digital payments responsibly. Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as required. Maintain accurate cash balance and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift. Ensure all price tags and barcodes are correct and updated. Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the checkout counters. Assist customers with inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department. Follow store policies, safety, and hygiene procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
