Job Description
Job Summary:
The Cashier is responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. They handle cash, card, and other payment methods while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Scan and process items accurately using the POS system. Handle cash, credit, and digital payments, and issue receipts or change. Maintain cash register cleanliness and ensure proper cash balancing at the end of the shift. Assist customers with inquiries and resolve any billing-related issues. Follow all store policies related to safety, security, and loss prevention. Ensure work area is clean and well-organized. Collaborate with team members and support stock replenishment if required. Report discrepancies, issues, or unusual transactions to the supervisor.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred. Basic math skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
