We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to manage daily cash transactions related to building material transportation services. The Cashier will be responsible for receiving payments, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and process cash, card, and digital payments from customers
Issue invoices, receipts, and delivery payment confirmations
Record daily transactions accurately in cash books or accounting systems
Verify transport charges, material delivery fees, and payment amounts
Balance cash drawers and prepare daily cash reports
Coordinate with drivers, dispatch staff, and accounts personnel regarding payments
Handle customer inquiries related to billing and payments professionally
Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and vouchers
Assist with basic accounting and office administrative tasks as needed
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Accounting or Finance background is a plus)
Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
Basic knowledge of computer, accounting principles and cash handling
Ability to use calculators and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Good communication and customer service skills
Honest, dependable, and able to work under pressure
