Job Title:

Cashier

We are seeking a friendly and reliable individual to join our team as a Cashier. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable handling transactions accurately and efficiently. As a cashier, you will be the face of our cafe, greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring a pleasant experience for every visitor.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and direct them to their tables or the ordering counter. Take customer orders accurately and input them into the POS system. Process payments using cash, credit cards, or digital payment methods. Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers as needed. Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area. Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels. Answer customer questions regarding the menu items, specials, and cafe policies. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure customer and food safety. Upsell additional products when appropriate.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service position preferred. Basic math skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
