Key Responsibilities
Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
Handle cash, card, and cheque payments; issue receipts and balance cash at the end of the day
Prepare daily sales and cash reconciliation reports
Record petty cash and maintain organized supporting documents
Support the accountant in verifying invoices, receipts, and daily cash collections
Maintain a clean and professional cashier counter
Provide excellent customer service during billing and inquiries
Assist with end-of-day closing and coordinate with the storekeeper/supervisor
Assist Accountant in Accounting and Admin Matters
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a
Cashier or Accounts Assistant
in retail, nursery, or FMCG (UAE experience preferred)
Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge
Proficiency with POS systems, MS Excel, or accounting software (Odoo knowledge is a plus)
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
Strong communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu an advantage)
Ability to work long hours and handle busy periods efficiently
Honest, reliable, and customer-focused
