Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.

Scan items, process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments), and give accurate change.

Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policies.

Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and procedures.

Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Answer customer questions and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Balance cash register at the end of each shift and report discrepancies.

Assist with stocking shelves and other store duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.

Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Working Conditions:

This role may require standing for long periods, working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A high level of energy and enthusiasm is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
