Job Description
Premium Retail Store Cashier
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but not mandatory. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing change. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
Personal Attributes:
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Flexible and willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and reaching.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using computers and basic software applications. Experience with cash registers and payment processing systems is a plus.
