Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet customers with a smile and provide a smooth and professional shopping experience.
Transaction Management: Record products using a scanner, collect payments in cash or electronically, and issue receipts and invoices.
Cash Management: Count cash, reconcile cash with total sales, and ensure accurate figures at the end of the shift.
Systems Proficiency: Use point-of-sale (POS) software efficiently and handle various payment methods (cards, digital wallets).
Additional Responsibilities: May include responding to customer inquiries, applying discounts and coupons, and maintaining a clean and organized cashier area.
Required Skills:
High accuracy in handling money and financial transactions.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
Familiarity with POS software and modern payment technologies.
