Lead and supervise a team of carpenters and helpers on-site.
Delegate daily work tasks according to project plans and priorities.
Ensure team productivity and efficiency in work.
2. Project Coordination
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to meet project deadlines.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide carpentry activities.
Manage material deliveries and ensure tools and equipment are available.
3. Quality Control
Monitor the quality of carpentry works (framing, partitions, ceilings, furniture, etc.).
Ensure that the work complies with company standards and project specifications.
Conduct regular inspections and correct any defects or rework issues.
4. Safety & Compliance
Enforce safety protocols and ensure the crew follows site safety regulations (PPE, tools handling, etc.).
Conduct tool-box talks and ensure a safe working environment.
Report incidents or unsafe conditions to site management.
5. Record Keeping & Reporting
Maintain daily work logs and progress reports.
Track material usage and requisition as needed.
Report workforce attendance and performance to management.
6. Technical Skills
Guide and assist in skilled carpentry work when required.
Solve on-site carpentry-related technical issues.
Ensure precision in measurements, installations, and finishing.
