Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter/Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, framing, trim carpentry, and working with various hand and power tools. This position offers opportunities for professional growth within the restoration, remodeling, and general construction industries.

Responsibilities

Assist in framing, trim carpentry, siding, roofing, and drywall installation Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, and plastering tasks as needed Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, water damage restoration components, and other hardware Conduct demolition work, heavy lifting, and site cleanup to maintain a safe work environment Assist with water damage restoration, mold remediation, and other specialty services Follow detailed schematics for electrical or plumbing installations when required Support team members in remodeling projects including flooring installation, tile laying, drywall finishing, and painting Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and project specifications

Requirements

Proven experience in construction or related fields such as restoration industry experience or maintenance person work Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, roofing equipment, and fabrication techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of various construction disciplines including carpentry (woodworking), masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and flooring installation Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Valid driver's license preferred for site access or material transportation Prior experience in remodeling or renovation projects is advantageous
