Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in both residential and commercial construction projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications.

Duties

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Perform construction estimating to provide accurate project cost assessments. Execute fixture installation for cabinetry, shelving, and other built-ins. Fabricate custom components as needed for specific projects. Hang doors and install windows with precision to ensure proper function and aesthetics. Work with siding materials to enhance the exterior of buildings. Collaborate on roofing projects, ensuring structural integrity and weatherproofing. Apply stucco finishes for both functional and decorative purposes. Engage in metal stud framing for interior walls as required by project specifications. Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in construction estimating techniques. Experience with fixture installation, including cabinetry and shelving systems. Ability to fabricate custom pieces tailored to project needs. Skilled in door hanging, siding application, roofing techniques, stucco finishing, and metal stud framing. Strong understanding of safety protocols and building codes. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
