This role demands exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining the wooden structures and finishes that contribute to the palace's grandeur and elegance.
Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry work for the royal palace, ensuring all tasks reflect the utmost quality and precision
- Read and understand blueprints and technical drawings to determine the specifications and requirements for projects
- Construct, install, and repair various wooden fixtures, including doors, windows, cabinetry, and ornate detailing
- Collaborate with architects and designers to create custom solutions that meet the palace's specifications and standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly cared for
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while working on-site
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably with experience in high-profile projects or historical restorations
- Must be currently residing in the UAE
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced carpentry certification is an advantage
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Physical fitness necessary for manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy materials
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
