Job Title: Decoration and Finishing Carpenter Foreman

Location: UAE

Salary: AED 3,500 per month + Accommodation + Overtime (if applicable) + Visa.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman with strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of carpentry, wood materials, and decorative works. The ideal candidate will supervise carpentry teams on-site, ensure high-quality workmanship, maintain safety standards, and manage daily labor activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage carpentry works on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time and according to specifications.

Organize, assign, and monitor daily tasks for carpenters and laborers.

Read and interpret drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.

Ensure high-quality workmanship in all carpentry and decorative works.

Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and other trades.

Ensure compliance with site rules, company policies, and safety regulations.

Maintain proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.

Monitor material usage and reduce waste.

Solve on-site technical and workmanship issues related to carpentry.

Train and guide workers to improve productivity and skill levels.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Strong knowledge of wood types, including solid wood, plywood, MDF, HDF, veneer, melamine, laminate, and other decorative materials.

Excellent understanding of the best professional methods for cutting, fixing, finishing, polishing, and installing carpentry items.

Experience in decorative carpentry, joinery, furniture, fit-out, and finishing works.

Ability to select appropriate materials for different applications based on durability, aesthetics, and cost.

Strong understanding of site work processes and construction methods.

Safety & Compliance

Enforce safety rules and ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers use PPE correctly.

Identify potential hazards and take preventive actions.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter Foreman or senior carpenter.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Ability to manage labor productivity and deadlines.

Good communication skills.

Experience working on construction or fit-out sites in the UAE is an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: AED 3,500 per month

Accommodation provided by the company

Residence Visa will be applied for the employee

Overtime paid as per company policy (if applicable)
