Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret drawings, sketches, and specifications. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other materials. Construct and repair doors, windows, cabinets, furniture, partitions, and frameworks. Install fixtures such as locks, handles, hinges, and other fittings. Perform maintenance and repair work on wooden structures. Ensure work is completed as per quality standards and project timelines. Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely. Follow safety procedures and site regulations at all times. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades as required. Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping at the work site.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Carpenter (minimum 2-3 years preferred). Ability to work from technical drawings and measurements. Good knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, and techniques. Physically fit and able to work in site conditions. Knowledge of safety practices and PPE usage. Basic communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage). Trade certification or vocational training is an added advantage.
Working Conditions:
8-10 hours duty per day (as per project requirement). Overtime may be required based on site needs. Accommodation, transportation, and other benefits as per company policy.
