Job Purpose:

To perform all carpentry-related repair, maintenance, and installation works within company facilities and client premises, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out carpentry maintenance, repair, and installation works, including doors, windows, locks, cabinets, partitions, and furniture. Inspect and identify damaged or defective wooden structures and fixtures. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wooden items as per requirements. Repair or replace door hinges, handles, locks, door closers, and wooden panels. Support other maintenance teams (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) when required. Follow preventive maintenance schedules as directed by the supervisor. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times. Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop area in proper working condition. Record daily tasks, material usage, and job completion in maintenance logs.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum

2-4 years of experience

as a Carpenter in a

Facilities Management

,

Maintenance

, or

Construction

environment. Good knowledge of tools, materials, and techniques used in carpentry work. Ability to read and interpret drawings or work orders. Experience in door and furniture repair preferred. Basic understanding of safety practices and procedures.

Education:

Secondary school or equivalent vocational certificate.

Language:

Basic English communication skills (reading and speaking).

Working Conditions:

8-10 hours per day, 6 days per week (as per company policy). Indoor and outdoor work at client sites. Must be physically fit to perform manual tasks.
