Perform routine maintenance, repair, and replacement of wooden furniture, doors, windows, panels, and partitions.
Restore damaged furniture, cabinets, shelves, and flooring as per FM standards.
Ensure proper finishing, sanding, polishing, and alignment of carpentry works.
2. Installation & Fabrication
Install new wooden furniture, cabinets, shelves, doors, and other joinery items.
Fabricate minor wooden structures or repairs according to approved drawings or instructions.
Ensure accurate measurement, cutting, and fitting for all installations.
3. Minor Aluminium Works
Perform minor aluminium works such as window/door frames, partitions, grills, or panel fittings.
Assist in repair and maintenance of aluminium fixtures including sliding doors, handles, locks, and joints.
Coordinate with specialized contractors for major aluminium works if required.
4. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
Conduct regular inspection of furniture, fixtures, and wooden/aluminium installations.
Repair minor damages to prevent further deterioration.
Attend urgent maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
5. Safety & Compliance
Follow all company safety protocols and wear PPE while working.
Ensure safe handling of carpentry tools, hand tools, and power tools.
Report unsafe conditions or potential hazards immediately to the FM Supervisor.
6. Coordination & Support
Work closely with FM Supervisors, Facility Engineers, and other maintenance teams (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC).
Support contractors and assist in joint works requiring carpentry or aluminium adjustments.
Provide guidance or support to junior carpenters or helpers.
7. Material & Tool Management
Maintain carpentry and aluminium tools, consumables, and inventory.
Request materials and tools needed for maintenance or installation tasks.
Ensure proper storage of wood, aluminium profiles, and hardware to prevent damage.
8. Documentation & Reporting
Record daily maintenance activities and completed works.
Report material consumption, defects, and pending works to FM Supervisor.
Assist in preparing maintenance logs and AMC reports as needed.
9. Emergency & On-Call Support
Attend urgent repairs or installations as required, minimizing downtime.
Support after-hours calls in case of emergency damages or client requests.
