We are seeking skilled Gypsum Carpenters/Workers to join our construction and interior fit-out team. The role involves installing, repairing, and finishing gypsum board (drywall), ceilings, and partitions according to specifications while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret drawings and layouts for gypsum works.
Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards, ceilings, and wall partitions.
Frame and install metal/wooden supports for false ceilings and drywall systems.
Apply joint compound, tape, and finishes to ensure smooth surfaces.
Install decorative gypsum elements such as cornices and moldings.
Ensure accurate alignment, leveling, and finishing of all installations.
Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely.
Follow company and site safety regulations.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Gypsum Carpenter/Worker.
Knowledge of drywall installation, false ceiling systems, and partitions.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
Physical stamina and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in commercial or residential interior fit-outs.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
