The carpenter is responsible for constructing and maintaining buildings.


Required knowledge includes: construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control and safety.


The carpenter must be proficient at the following tasks: hanging doors, drilling and setting door hardware, setting windows, layout for stairs and common rafters, formwork, and reading blueprints. The carpenter must also possess the mathematical and analytical skills necessary to do materials estimates.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Carpenter, with hospitality experience preferred Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Efficient time management and task prioritization abilities Physical stamina and dexterity to perform carpentry tasks Keen attention to detail and precision in workmanship Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations Thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures in carpentry Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards * Organized approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
