Required Education, Experience & Skills:

High School Diploma or higher Proven hands-on experience on similar role Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.) Ability to read technical documents and drawings.

Main Objective:

To hold responsibility for all carpentry related works including but not limited to construction, maintenance, repair, etc.

Duties & Tasks:

Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of interior building components related to the carpentry trade such as but not limited to steel/wood stud and drywall, suspended ceilings, commercial and residential doors, frames and hardware and flooring. Carry out installation, repair, and maintenance of exterior building components such as but not limited to windows, doors, siding, stairs, decks, trim and asphalt roofing shingles. Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements and follow building plans to meet the requirements. Complete preventive maintenance tasks on designated architectural and building fabric components. Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required. Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenter's hand tools, and power tools. Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using appropriate tools. Conduct a regular inspection on ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures. Perform other related duties assigned by the management. Ensures compliance to systems, processes and procedures. Provide weekly and monthly reports to Team Leader.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,300.00 per month
