Carpenter

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial construction and be proficient in a wide range of carpentry tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Perform rough and finish carpentry, including framing, drywall installation, cabinetry, and custom woodwork. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to accurately execute project requirements. Install doors, windows, cabinets, shelving, trim, and other fixtures according to design plans. Construct frameworks, partitions, scaffolding, and other structural components. Assist with staircases, flooring, roofing, and additional wood-based construction features. Ensure all work meets quality standards, specifications, and building codes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times. Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications to existing wooden structures. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Follow all safety procedures and job-site regulations. Track materials used and document completed tasks as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training preferred. 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a carpenter, ideally within a general contracting environment. Solid understanding of carpentry methods, tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Proficient with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and carpentry-related equipment. Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Physically capable of lifting materials up to 50 lbs and performing demanding tasks.

Preferred Skills

Experience with custom cabinetry, trim work, and detailed finish carpentry. Knowledge of drywall installation and finishing. Ability to speak Arabic is an asset.
