Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and requirements
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials
Install doors, windows, partitions, flooring, cabinetry, and decorative trims
Build frameworks such as walls, floors, and doorframes
Perform repair and maintenance work on existing wooden structures
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Ensure work is completed in a timely manner and adheres to quality standards
Collaborate with other construction professionals (e.g., electricians, plumbers, painters)
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
Requirements:
Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 2-5 years)
Experience in residential, commercial, or interior fit-out projects in the UAE or GCC preferred
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
Good understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
Physical strength and stamina
Basic knowledge of English or Arabic preferred
