Read and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and shuttering plans.
Build and assemble wooden or metal formwork components to shape concrete structures.
Cut, shape, and install timber and plywood panels according to design specifications.
Erect, align, and secure formwork systems ensuring stability and safety during concrete pouring.
Dismantle and remove formwork safely after concrete has set.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other tradespeople to coordinate shuttering work schedules.
Inspect formwork regularly to identify and repair any damages or weaknesses.
Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently.
Maintain and organize tools, shuttering materials, and equipment.
Estimate material requirements and report shortages promptly.
