To support Serco\xe2\x80\x99s continuous delivery of world class services, our team at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Carpenter who will carry out planned preventive maintenance on doors and windows including associated furniture as well as being p art of t h e r e a c t i v e m aint e n a n c e t e a m a n d w i l l pro v i de f i r s t l i n e re s p o nse t o d e f ects a n d e m ergenc i es on carp e nt r y wor k s .

Key accountabilities
Pr o v i d e su p p o rt to t h e H a n d y m en a nd other T ech ni ca l As s i s t a nts to m a i nt ai n t he facilities i n g o o d c o n d i t i o n. Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) work on doors and opening windows to maintain smooth operation. Carry out repairs to defective doors, civil work wall and floors, windows, glazing and locking systems. Provide service to gain emergency access to locked rooms. Inspection and recording of assets condition.

Specific requirements Holder of T ech ni c al Cert i f i c ate i n Ca r p e nt r y / W o o d w or k i ng or e q u i v a l e nt.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as carpenter in a commercial buildings, hospitals or other facilities management buildings in services engineering environment.
