About the role As our business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Charter Sales Team in Doha as a Cargo Charters & Leasing Officer key accountabilities of which are below:
Monitor, prepare and keep track of BH utilization along with journey logs on daily basis for all Leasing programs and coordinate with IOC for accurate updates in TOPS.
Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance on booked charter flights
Manage charter bookings from enquiry to post-flight closure in respective systems
Complete flight monitoring to ensure financial and operations related items are up-to-date and complete
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Assist in research and maintenance of available options of leasing operators, aircraft capabilities, and contracts when finalized, and coordinate with finance for leasing fee payments as per agreed terms in contract.
Prepare BH reconciliation; coordinate with finance and service provider for account settlement on monthly basis.
Support Line Manager in strategically developing and delivering Charter Sales revenue targets, maximize returns from existing market whilst identifying and penetrating new markets where appropriate
Support Line Manager in developing and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with Qatar Airways’ Trade partners and corporate clients

Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 4 years of Charter/ Cargo Sales experience
Clear and in depth knowledge of Air Cargo products
Knowledge of Cargo Market trends and Competitor Awareness
Strong decision making and problem solving abilities
Willingness to work under pressure and with strict deadlines
Self-starter and can do attitude
Good analytical, influencing and negotiation skills
Fluency in written and spoken English
