WHAT YOU\'LL DO


As a Career Services Specialist, you support Career Services (CS) team in conceptualizing, implementing, and optimizing special projects as well as ad-hoc initiatives that are strategic to the team\xe2\x80\x99s daily operations and ongoing evolution of the function. This includes but not limited to streamlining existing processes and systems, carrying out administrative duties to support, facilitate and enhance the department\xe2\x80\x99s core offering consisting of career coaching and advisory.

Your main responsibilities include Supporting the team whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times in any dimension of the role:

Team Coordination for Operation and Special Initiatives
  • Oversee all internal processes and ways of working to make sure that CS runs its services in the most seamless and time efficient way possible. This includes challenging status quo, being up to date with wider BCG systems and standards.
  • Oversee Reporting and KPI for the function: Prepare and maintain team\xe2\x80\x99s metrics and KPI (annual and quarterly). Respond to frequent special requests for metrics on Career Services clients, job leads, placements etc., from a variety of internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and continuously enhances team\xe2\x80\x99s tracking systems (such as CS Candidate, Head-hunter and Job leads logs) by leveraging on advanced Excel capabilities and by adopting latest workflow management tools and resources available to BCG.
  • Oversee and maintain the BCG Global Jobs Database for ME CS by acting as primary POC on behalf of the function; this includes working with partners, clients and recruiters to create accounts, post and approve job opportunities and increase visibility for key job leads.
  • Managing and maintaining internal material such as Trello Board and other platforms to ensure they are up to date.

Relationship Management- External
  • Collaborate with CS colleagues to build and Maintain relationship with HH, BCG clients and Alumni Network for Job leads generation and to maintain CS visibility
  • Introducing potential candidate\xe2\x80\x99s profiles to external companies including BCG Clients and Target Companies
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
  • Liaise with wider CS functions- regionally and Globally, to build and maintain relationship and to share best practice
  • Collaborate with other HR teams, Marketing and IT to ensure seamless and integrated flow and communication from ideation to execution of ongoing and new projects

  • You enjoy analysing data to pull out critical information that helps support and enhance team\xe2\x80\x99s work
  • You are detail-oriented by nature and you enjoy maintaining data accuracy on all Career Services logs and databases, leveraging on proficient excel and MS Office suite capabilities.
  • You demonstrate strong organization skills with an ability to consistently meet deadlines and handle competing priorities effectively.
  • You have a strong ability to work under pressure.
  • You are results-driven and self-motivated.
  • You can respect all BCG information as personal and confidential.
  • You enjoy working in a demanding, fast-paced and multicultural environment.


YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)


  • A relevant bachelor\'s degree and up to 4+ years\xe2\x80\x99 support experience, preferably at an executive search firm or a junior recruiting role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English, Arabic is a plus.
  • Proficient level computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
