Job Description

Reports to: Director - Center for Continuing Education Scope and Purposes: The career advisor is responsible for providing advice and guidance services to the customers and provides them with the correct learning solutions thereby achieving the sales targets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the CCE including identifying target markets, creating marketing plans, etc.
  • Be a part of the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies for programs and courses.
  • Develop relationships and networks to acquire new leads and maintain existing clients.
  • Prospecting for new customers (friends, phone calls, newspapers...).
  • Call existing customers and follow up with them to market our training programs.
  • Call and invite new customers to the center and provide them with the learning solutions to enroll them in CCE programs.
  • Maintain students’ database.
  • Register students in the Banner system.
  • Deliver bilingual (English and Arabic) programmatic information and services, as well as registration support to a wide range of public clients.
  • Provide information and processes registrations from the public, and current and returning CCE students and advise them regarding program/course appropriateness, availability, and registration; billing, and payment options; in-person, over the telephone, by fax, and via email.
  • Ensure that contacts are accurately tracked and followed up in a timely and effective manner.
  • Play an integral role in the success of CCE sales and marketing processes.
  • Support and assist CCE in event participation.
  • Participate in activities associated with the promotion of the University and CCE.
  • Perform duties related to filing and administration, as assigned.
  • Arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
  • Enroll customers by convincing them to select our programs by emphasizing our strengths & advantages.
  • Handle customer objections.
  • Update clients’ records of new contacts or information.
  • Follow the sale system and policies of CCE.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related field.
Experience:
  • 2 years’ experience in sales or marketing.
Skills:
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
  • Must be proficient in computer use including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, E-mail, and the internet.
  • Proficient in using all office tools effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continued education and professional development.
  • Strong organizational Skills.
  • Strong writing Skills.
