Position Overview

The

Polisher cum Interior Detailing Technician

is responsible for delivering high?quality vehicle polishing, paint correction, and interior detailing services. This role ensures every vehicle meets premium aesthetic and cleanliness standards, enhancing customer satisfaction and maintaining the company's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Perform exterior polishing including compounding, buffing, waxing, and paint correction to remove scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation. Conduct full interior detailing such as vacuuming, shampooing, stain removal, leather cleaning, and conditioning. Inspect vehicles before and after service to ensure quality standards are met. Use polishing machines and detailing tools safely and effectively. Apply protective coatings such as sealants, waxes, or ceramic coatings when required. Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas. Identify paint defects and recommend appropriate corrective procedures. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Assist with additional detailing tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in automotive polishing and detailing (2-3 years preferred). Knowledge of polishing compounds, pads, and machine techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Good communication skills and customer?focused attitude. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks for extended periods.

Work Environment

Fast-paced detailing workshop or automotive service center. Exposure to chemicals, cleaning agents, and polishing equipment. Requires standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
