About the Role
We are looking for a Capital Projects Analyst to support the review and evaluation of government project proposals during the annual capital budget cycle. You will play a vital role in analyzing project scopes, budgets, and timelines, ensuring decisions are evidence-based and cost data is accurate for future planning.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze project proposals from government entities.
Assess project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
Gather and review supporting documents and reports.
Draft clear recommendations (approval, conditional approval, or rejection).
Collect and track capital project cost data, including material prices.
Collaborate with suppliers to maintain up-to-date price tracking tables.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field.
Experience in project analysis, budgeting, or similar roles.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
Public sector or government project experience is a plus.
