Les Roches, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, is opening a world-class hospitality management academy in Abu Dhabi in September 2024. As part of the pre-opening preparations, we are recruiting the members of the Les Roches Abu Dhabi Executive Management Committee. The Campus Managing Director will be based in Abu Dhabi and will report to the Brand Managing Director and Governing Board of Les Roches and Abu Dhabi National Project Office. The Campus Managing Director implements the vision and values of the academy and the brand educative mission to attract international and Emirati home grown talents to the Hospitality Industry and secure the future of the UAE Hospitality Sector. He/she guarantees the promotion of the academy\xe2\x80\x99s Emirati hospitality identity and curriculum and actively engages with community leaders and local authorities to promote the academy\xe2\x80\x99s contributions to the local economy and hospitality sector. For the role of Campus Managing Director of this new pioneering academy, we look for an entrepreneurial leader, with a passion for education and hospitality management. To be eligible for the role, you need to hold an MBA degree or Master\xe2\x80\x99s in a relevant field and have successfully fulfilled the role of hospitality executive for at least 10 years, preferably at the level of General Manager. You have participated in the opening phase of a new company before, have significant experience in people and finance management in the field of (higher) education and have the ability to build a performing team and the drive to grow a business. You have expertise in Finance, Sales, PR and Communication, have an understanding of the international for-profit sector of higher education and you have a fluent level of spoken and written English and Arabic. As Campus Managing Director your main missions will be to:

• Manage the implementation of the strategic plan and appropriate operational actions or policies serving as a link between the Board and the academy. Tailor the strategic initiatives and curriculum to align with the cultural and economic landscape of the region and the everchanging hospitality industry.
• Lead the BtoB and BtoG business development planning. Grow the turnover, promote the academy and interact with local authorities.
• Provide operational leadership and establish and maintain an effective organisational structure and culture to accomplish the objectives. Develop, empower, motivate, and communicate with the campus team.
• In collaboration with the Academic Dean, ensure the quality and consistency of the academy\xe2\x80\x99s programs and courses, plan new or revised programs, and supervise activities related to accreditation and accreditation bodies.
• Optimize human and financial resources, lead the school budget cycle and prepare business reviews on a regular basis. Develop and maintain infrastructure and physical assets.
• Uphold the highest levels of professionalism and ethical conduct on the campus. Be a role model for senior and junior management, employees, and students. Implement excellence as a standard in all aspects of the student and employee experiences.
