About you and this role

Do you want to join Dow\'s digital innovation journey? We are seeking master\'s / Ph.D. students interested to complement their primary expertise with Digital Internship in Saudi Arabia. You will be integrated in one of Dow\xe2\x80\x99s key functions \xe2\x80\x93 Supply Chain or logistics. You will work with a cross-functional team whose high-level goal is to accelerate the digital evolution of a global leader in the materials industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, conduct regular audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory.
• Coordinate Shipments: Support the logistics team in coordinating domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the logistics department and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Data Analysis: Utilize analytical tools to analyze logistics data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or a graduated bachelor/Master in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or any.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with a keen eye for identifying trends and patterns.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners, ensuring clear and concise information flow.
• Detail-Oriented: Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in tasks, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The internship can be started anywhere in between April - May 2024 (Exact time can be discussed).
