Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE: To assists in executing all advertising activities required to promote stc products and services and improve the corporate image of stc. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: Support the day-to-day operations of the respective unit/ department by providing expertise, encouraging and ensuring teamwork and aligning work processes in order to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and objectives and ensure employee engagement in a motivated work environment. Support the development of Consumer (Advertising & Communications) policies, procedures and guidelines and participate in overseeing its implementation to ensure that all procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a high quality and cost-effective service to internal customers. Develop and coordinate advertising materials or related communication activities such as media conferences in line with the strategy. Coordinate with Corporate Communication Unit for effective design of corporate newsletters, corporate portal and recommend definitions around the CSR image for stc's effective internal brand communication and ensure a unified image is communicated to all stc branches and stores. Generate regular and special reports for the supervisor & manager that summarize and forecast business activities and financial position of the Marketing Communications section and escalate critical issues to provide effective recommendations in meeting the key challenges. Provide professional advice to the supervisor and manager on various Advertising & communications related initiatives and issues to keep them informed and abreast of relevant developments. Liaise with stc sectors and departments to effectively respond to business customer requests and any internal queries in order to ensure smooth processing of all department transactions and to provide value added contribution to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company. Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of section systems, processes and practices while taking into account international best practice, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Language Skills: Fluent English and Arabic skills (written and spoken) required.
