Job Opportunity: Camp Boss (Construction/Contracting Industry)

We are currently looking for a proactive and experienced

Camp Boss

to manage the day-to-day operations of a labor camp supporting large-scale construction or contracting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in camp management, excellent leadership skills, and a solid understanding of health, safety, and labor compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of camp operations, including accommodation, housekeeping, catering, security, and facility maintenance. Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained across the camp at all times. Maintain discipline and a high standard of living conditions for all residents. Coordinate with HR, Admin, and Project teams for staff movements, allocations, and logistics. Handle resident concerns, disputes, or emergencies in a professional and timely manner. Keep records of occupancy, maintenance, supplies, and incident reports. Ensure compliance with local labor laws, health regulations, and company policies.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or contracting sector. Strong leadership and personnel management skills. Proven experience managing large labor camps with diverse nationalities. In-depth knowledge of hygiene and camp safety standards, along with familiarity with local labor laws. Strong coordination skills with internal departments like HR, Admin, and Projects. Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is an asset. Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
