What we expect

\xc2\xb7 Perform structural analysis of steel structures;

\xc2\xb7 Detailed design of steel connections (welded/bolted) by analytical methods / hand calculations;

\xc2\xb7 Perform lifting analysis of skids, modules and equipment;

\xc2\xb7 Write technical reports and calculation notes in technical English as per the requirements of Classification Societies Rules and Regulations;

\xc2\xb7 Review, check, and verify structural drawings, and supporting documentation rated to the project in accordance with Client requirements;

\xc2\xb7 Assist the project engineers during the preliminary studies, procurement, and installation phases;

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience structural design for the Offshore O&G Structures;

\xc2\xb7 Engineering Master\'s degree (Civil/Structural/Naval engineer) or other related disciplines;

\xc2\xb7 Active user of STAAD PRO - Mandatory;

\xc2\xb7 Well versed in detailed design of steel connections with Mathcad / Excel

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software such as ANSYS, FEMAP or equivalent is a major plus;

\xc2\xb7 Understanding of industry related standards (e.g. AISC, API, ASME) and Class Rules (e.g. ABS, DNV, Norsok)

\xc2\xb7 Technical knowledge of steel fabrication and steel material selection as per relevant Codes;

\xc2\xb7 Experience with High Pressure Piping (HP) Design (5k/10k/15k psi) is a major plus;

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Caesar 2 piping software is a major plus;

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of any programming language / macros is a plus;

\xc2\xb7 Previous exposure with Mobile Offshore Units upgrade projects is a major plus;

\xc2\xb7 Understanding of ship building drawings is a plus;
