Supervise and coordinate all cafeteria activities, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning.
Ensure food is prepared and served in compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to maintain standards.
Manage inventory and place orders for food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
Prepare and maintain staff work schedules and ensure proper staffing levels.
Train, support, and evaluate cafeteria staff to ensure efficient operations.
Handle customer complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafeteria area, including kitchen and dining spaces.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions.
Keep records of daily sales, expenses, and inventory usage.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or diploma in hospitality, food service, or management is preferred.
Proven experience in food service, preferably in a supervisory or team lead role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic math and computer skills for scheduling, inventory, and reporting.
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
