The Cafeteria Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and efficient service in the staff cafeteria. They ensure that meals are served on time, food stations are well-stocked, and dining areas remain clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and serving meals to staff in the cafeteria.
Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, dining tables, and food counters.
Refill food, beverages, and utensils as needed throughout service times.
Ensure proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures are followed.
Report any food shortages, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance issues.
Collect and dispose of waste properly and clean trays, dishes, and utensils.
Support kitchen staff in basic food prep when needed.
Greet staff courteously and maintain a friendly, service-oriented approach.
Follow hotel hygiene and uniform standards at all times.
Perform opening and closing duties of the cafeteria as assigned.
Requirements:
Previous experience 1-2 year in a similar role (Hospitality Sector ) is preferred.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physically fit to stand for long periods and perform cleaning tasks.
