Cafe Supervisor (Dubai)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Department: Front of House / Operations
Reports to: Junior Cafe Manager / Cafe Manager
Job Purpose:
To oversee the daily shift operations, ensuring seamless service, high team performance, and complete guest satisfaction. The Supervisor acts as the bridge between staff and management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house staff (Baristas, Waiters, Runners) during the assigned shift.
• Ensure all service standards, operational procedures, and hygiene protocols are strictly followed.
• Handle complex customer service situations and resolve complaints effectively.
• Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing coaching.
• Monitor stock levels for front-of-house supplies and place orders as needed.
• Manage table seating and wait times to optimize floor efficiency.
• Complete end-of-shift reports, including cash reconciliation and sales summaries.
• Support the management team in implementing promotions and achieving sales targets.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a cafe or restaurant, with at least 1 year in a senior or supervisory role.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
• In-depth knowledge of coffee, food service, and health & safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken); Arabic is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office.
