Job Overview
As a Cafxc3xa9 Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining excellent hospitality standards, replenishing products, supporting sales with product knowledge, ensuring food safety compliance, and contributing to a clean, safe, and engaging customer environment. You will play a key role in promoting offers, upselling products, and handling food displays in accordance with SOPs.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain hospitality and food counter standards throughout the day
• Follow Ready to Trade and product specification checklists for visual and hygiene compliance
• Execute Clean As You Go practices across counters and seating areas
• Log and report equipment issues and ensure safe food preparation
• Engage with customers, promote products, and provide helpful information about ingredients, pricing, and pairings
• Support ordering and service channels like take-away and cake orders
• Conduct product tastings to boost awareness and drive sales
• Replenish stock as per reports, conduct regular counts, and manage stock accuracy and waste logging
• Follow all legal ticketing and cold chain requirements
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safety, and store equipment standards

Job Requirements

• 4-5 years' experience in food and beverage or retail food service
• High school diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Knowledge of F&B hygiene practices with relevant certification
• Physically fit, able to lift and stand for extended periods
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a customer-first attitude
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand retail environment
