Our company is seeking a skilled CAD/GIS Draftsman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, editing and maintaining digital maps and drawings using CAD and GIS software. The CAD/GIS Draftsman will work closely with other team members, including engineers and surveyors, to ensure that maps and drawings are accurate and up-to-date. Responsibilities:
- Create, edit and maintain digital maps and drawings using CAD and GIS software
- Update and maintain spatial databases
- Convert data between different digital formats
- Interpret and input survey data and notes
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
- Follow established company standards for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to CAD and GIS software
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in the use of CAD and GIS software, including AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS and QGIS
- Understanding of survey data and notes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Associate\'s or bachelor\'s degree in drafting, GIS, surveying or related field
- Experience working in civil engineering or surveying projects
