Cad/bim Architect Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a talented CAD Architectural Engineer to join our design and engineering team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality architectural drawings, coordinating with design teams, and supporting project engineers throughout all project stages. Strong CAD skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed Architectural BIM models
Produce accurate CAD drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
Update, refine, and coordinate BIM models with structural and MEP teams.
Prepare shop drawings, clash detection reports, and model coordination documentation.
Assist in creating schedules, quantities, and construction documentation from BIM models.
Ensure designs and models comply with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and local authority regulations.
Maintain project CAD/BIM libraries, templates, and workflows.
Support architects and engineers during all project phases, including design, tender, and construction.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in
Architectural Engineering / Architecture / CAD Technology
.At least 3 years of experience
in architectural CAD/BIM drafting (Qatar or GCC experience preferred). Strong proficiency inRevit (BIM)
andAutoCAD
; experience with Navisworks, SketchUp, or BIM 360 is a plus. Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Excellent knowledge of detailing, materials, and drafting standards. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced project environment. Accuracy, attention to detail, and good organizational skills. UPDA certificate is a plus.Job Type: Full-time
