Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Operator to join our survey engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, updating, and maintaining CAD drawings and survey-related documentation. The role requires precision, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively with surveyors, engineers, and project teams to deliver accurate drawings that meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, revise, and maintain CAD drawings from survey data, sketches, field notes, and engineer/architect instructions. Convert survey field measurements into accurate 2D/3D CAD drawings. Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, company standards, and client requirements. Assist surveyors and engineers in interpreting survey data for design and drafting purposes. Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation for easy access and reference. Coordinate with team members to update drawings based on design changes or revisions. Review and cross-check CAD drawings for accuracy before submission. Support the preparation of as-built drawings and final project deliverables. Stay updated on CAD software tools, standards, and techniques applicable to survey and engineering projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field. Proven experience (2-4 years) as a CAD Operator, preferably in a survey or engineering company. Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D knowledge is an advantage). Strong understanding of survey drawings, topographic maps, and land development plans. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting. Ability to interpret technical drawings and survey data. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with GIS applications is an advantage. Experience in preparing shop drawings, layout plans, and as-built documentation. Knowledge of local authority drawing standards (Dubai Municipality, RTA, etc.) will be a plus.
