Job Description
CAD Operator Responsibilities:
Contract length: 2 weeks Salary: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month Application Question(s):
- Interpreting project briefs and meeting with clients, engineers, and architects to ensure all blueprints and technical drawings are completed to specifications.
- Producing rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints.
- Visiting sites to gather information, and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.
- Updating software, drawings, and other documents.
- Remaining professional when feedback is delivered, and implementing any changes to drafts as soon as possible.
- Ensuring drawings are compliant with building regulations and engineering principles.
- Communicating potential design issues to engineers and architects.
- Conducting research when required.
- Associate\'s degree in drafting or similar.
- Additional courses in CAD software.
- Practical experience with CAD software.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction.
- A completed apprenticeship would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Superb work ethic and ability to accept feedback.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Meets with clients to pitch design proposals according to requirements
- Develops ideas per client specifications
- Prepares blueprints and other necessary construction documents
- Ensures that projects are carried out according to safety standards and regulations
- Coordinates with construction professionals and project teams
- Regularly reports on project progress by way of site visits
- Minimum 5 years of architectural experience or similar
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Architecture or related field
- Excellent technical drawing skills
- Proficient in MS Office and programs such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent creative and visualization skills
- Attention to detail
