Job Requirements and Description As a Cad Modeler/Editor, you will need to have strong attention to detail and be able to work independently. You will also need to be able to follow instructions from engineers or other designers. Responsible for creating accurate models and drawings of products using Computer-
Aided Design (CAD) software that can be used for everything from product development to construction projects. To work closely with other designers and fabricators to create accurate models and drawings of products. In some cases, they may also be responsible for creating prototypes of products. Must have a strong understanding of CAD software and be able to create detailed models and drawings. They must also work well with others and take engineers\xe2\x80\x99 and designers\xe2\x80\x99 direction. Typically work in office settings. But, may also travel to job sites occasionally to take measurements or to meet with clients. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are also necessary to succeed in this role, as you will need to be able to explain your designs to others on the team. You will also need to be able to work independently and meet deadlines. Education Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Architectural/Engineering or related/equivalent field Skills and Experience Should have at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar field.
Ability to read the architectural drawings plans, elevations, 3D files, sections & etc.
Experience in architectural and industrial scale model editing.
Experience of AutoCAD software is a must.
Proficiency in either 3DMax \xe2\x80\x93 Revit \xe2\x80\x93 Rhino \xe2\x80\x93 SketchUp software is a must.
Knowledge in 3D Printing will be an added advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and do overtime.
Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe software is a plus.
