About the Role

Armeton is looking for a talented CAD Designer to join our R&D team. You will play a key role in transforming concepts into precise, production-ready models and drawings, supporting the creation of innovative, cost-effective concrete components and moulds for home appliances.

Key Responsibilities

Create accurate 3D models and 2D technical drawings for mechanical parts and assemblies (counterweights, moulds, brackets, mounts). Optimise designs for concrete casting and manufacturing processes. Ensure all drawings include dimensions, tolerances, materials, and annotations per GD&T and ISO standards. Support prototyping through 3D printing, CNC machining, casting, or mould manufacturing. Collaborate with engineers, production, and procurement to ensure designs are practical, cost-efficient, and manufacturable. Assist with tooling and mould design improvements to enhance quality and durability. Maintain version control and proper documentation.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or related field. 2-4 years' experience as a CAD Designer or Mechanical Draftsman. Experience in concrete component design, industrial moulds, or appliance products is a plus. Proficiency in SolidWorks (essential); AutoCAD familiarity preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical part design, GD&T, technical drawing standards, mould design principles, and manufacturing processes. Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines. Fluent in English.
