Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Draftsman to join our team. The role involves creating technical drawings, detailed plans, and layouts using CAD software to support design, engineering, and project teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of drafting standards, attention to detail, and the ability to translate concepts into accurate technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or other CAD software. Review and interpret technical designs, blueprints, sketches, and specifications. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and project requirements. Modify and update existing drawings as required by engineers, architects, or project managers. Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to resolve drawing discrepancies. Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and documentation. Assist in preparing as-built drawings for completed projects. Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of drafting outputs.

Requirements

Diploma/ITI in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field. Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman or similar role. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), SolidWorks, Revit, or relevant CAD software. Strong knowledge of drafting standards, symbols, and best practices. Good understanding of engineering/architectural terminology and construction practices. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with project teams. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with BIM software (Revit/Navisworks). Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
