Job Description

The Role

Develop detailed CAD drawings for interior fit-out projects, ensuring precision and compliance with project specifications. o Translate concept drawings, sketches, and design briefs into technical shop drawings and fabrication details. o Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and production teams to ensure drawings are aligned with project budgets, timelines, and material selections. o Prepare cutting lists, material schedules, and joinery details for manufacturing. o Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for technical inputs, ensuring designs meet feasibility and installation requirements. o Revise and update drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and project changes. o Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, industry standards, and company quality guidelines. o Maintain organized drawing libraries, revision histories, and documentation for all projects. o Provide technical support during site installation when required.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering (or relevant discipline). o Minimum 3-5 years' proven experience as a CAD Designer/Draughtsman in the interior fit-out industry. o Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or 3D Studio Max is an added advantage. o Ability to produce accurate, clear, and well-organized shop drawings, cutting lists, and fabrication details. o Excellent eye for detail, technical accuracy, and problem-solving skills. o Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across design, estimation, and site teams. o Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines. o Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and local authority standards is desirable.
