Job Description

Develop detailed technical drawings and designs based on project requirements and engineering specifications. Collaborate with engineers and project teams to gather necessary design information, dimensions, and technical details. Prepare 2D/3D CAD drawings, layouts, schematics, and as-built drawings for design, installation, and tender purposes. Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, codes, and regulatory requirements. Revise, update, and maintain design documents throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct design reviews, identify potential issues, and recommend improvements for functionality and accuracy. Support site teams by verifying design accuracy through field inspections or walkdowns when required. Maintain version control of drawings and ensure documentation is properly archived and updated. Provide technical support in preparing project reports, manuals, and workflow diagrams. Carry out additional design-related tasks as assigned by project managers or engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

1-2 years of experience as a CAD Designer/Draftsman (fresh graduates with strong CAD skills are welcome to apply). Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD-related software (2D/3D). Knowledge of Abu Dhabi MCC standards for initial and as-built drawings is an advantage. Experience in containment works, CCTV, ACS, or other ELV-related drawings is a plus. Strong technical drawing and visualization skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with project and technical teams. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
